Consulting & Technical Content

I help startups and devtool companies turn complex ideas into working code, clear content, and repeatable workflows.

Email: waprin@gmail.com

What I offer:

  • Applied AI Engineering
Fast prototyping and integration of LLM workflows (MCP, agents, automation, embeddings, etc.)
→ Ideal for teams exploring use cases or building internal tools
  • Technical Product Strategy
I bring a developer's mindset and a founder's lens to early product iterations, helping prioritize features, reduce scope, and ship faster.
  • Developer-Facing Content
Blog posts, tutorials, and demo videos that explain your product to engineers the way engineers actually want it explained.

Who I work with:

  • Early-stage teams building AI-powered products, devtools, or technical education content
  • Founders who need a senior engineer's eye without a full-time hire
  • Companies trying to bridge the gap between code and content.

Why work with me?

  • Computer Science degree from Johns Hopkins
  • 13 years full-time experience at companies like Google, Pinterest, Thumbtack, and tiny startups, including extensive experience in full stack development and cloud infrastructure
  • Built SaaS products independently from conception to revenue, including all product design and marketing
  • Currently author of the AI Engineering Report and my YouTube channel focused on AI Engineering topics

Full-Time Employment & Recruiters

  • I'm not looking for full-time employment at the moment, but I'm always happy to hear about interesting opportunities in case my situation changes in the future.
  • I generally do not connect, reply, or work with agency recruiters. While recruiters were helpful early in my career—especially when I was new to a city—my current focus and network mean this approach no longer makes sense for me.

Availability & IP

I'm only available for part-time or short-term projects. Since I'm actively building independent products, I avoid broad IP or non-compete agreements—happy to scope things narrowly and avoid overlap with your business.
